Cheltenham and District Riding Club was founded in 1956 and remains a friendly club, promoting a good standard of riding and horsemanship.
We offer our members a range of welcoming events, demonstrations and training sessions as part of the wider British Riding Clubs (BRC) movement.
We are affiliated to BRC Area 18 and are competitive at all regional competitions and members regularly get to experience competing at National Championships. There is something for everyone though, with competitions and training from grass roots level to higher levels.

We are always looking for new members to offer different ideas or if only to grab some new faces to help out so if you want to join go to the Join Us page, print and fill in the membership form and send off with your cheque. Then come and introduce yourselves to us at one of the events, there’s free tea and coffee at the dressage and we’ll be pleased to see you – especially if you bring a packet of biscuits.
Please remember – you don’t have to own a horse to join the riding club! We are always desperate for helpers during our events. It’s a brilliant way of meeting people and your help will be very much appreciated!!!
