CDRC caters for training at all levels and across all disciplines. Whatever your goal for the coming season, CDRC will have some training to assist you.
Flatwork – Nicola Klaiber and TBC organise all the flatwork training for CDRC. We have members who aim to complete their first Walk and Trot test, and others who want to polish their Advanced Medium moves. Groups are assigned by ability, so you will always be with others at your level in your group.
Jumping – Michelle Holder and Arlene Mansell organise the show jumping training for the club. We operate at two different levels for this: Michelle deals with training that caters for those who want to compete at the Area level teams (80cm+) and Arlene manages the training for polework up to 80cm. She mentors members who would like to ride for the club in the Mercian group of competitions.
Cross Country – Sian Evans organises training for cross country. She is also the Horse Trials and Eventer Challenge Team Manager. Cross Country training is organised less frequently across the year due to ground conditions and member preference. If there is no training listed for XC on the calendar (but you fancy a session in a group) then drop Sian a line.
